Within just one week of moving from the town into our new home in the Cheshire countryside, it was wonderful to see early morning fog across the field, with the ghostly spectre of a solitary oak tree looming through the mist, just calling out to be photographed. So I ventured out with my camera and tripod to take a series of shots which I blended together to make a long panorama. This was the first to be framed and given pride of place over the mantelpiece. As the months and seasons passed I couldn't believe how the view from my window changed so dramatically with the weather and soon there were more than enough images for a calendar. Developing this collection has brought me closer in touch with the seasons and countryside around that I’d too often taken for granted before. The idea to then print everyone's favourites on cards and gifts took off and here you see the results. They are proving very popular here in local shops around Nantwich.
